Redruth Gaol Paranormal Investigation, Burra
Saturday, 31 October 2026
Location: Burra, South Australia
Redruth Gaol Paranormal Investigation | Halloween Micro Event
Join Rob and Corey for a unique overnight paranormal investigation inside one of South Australia's most historic gaols.
Built in 1856, Redruth Gaol was the first gaol in South Australia outside Adelaide. The building later became a girls' reformatory and is now cared for by the National Trust of South Australia. It is also known as a filming location for the 1979 Australian film Breaker Morant, starring Bryan Brown.
With its long history and stories from the past, Redruth Gaol offers a fascinating setting for an overnight paranormal investigation. We've experienced unexplained activity here on previous visits, and this Halloween we're returning to spend the night exploring the building and seeing what the evening may bring.
Arrive in the late afternoon, explore the historic site, set up your swag or tent, and get settled before the investigation begins. We'll share gourmet pizza for dinner before spending the evening investigating the gaol together.
After a night at this remarkable historic site, we'll start the morning with a barbecue breakfast before packing up and heading home.
This small group micro event is designed for those interested in history, the paranormal and experiencing something a little different. No previous paranormal investigation experience is necessary, just an open mind and a sense of adventure.
